This week we have Art and Craft as our theme in Blogging Marathon. As I am zero in this department I will be showcasing what others in my family have done. I am sure that will be more acceptable to the half finished art that adorns my shelves.
This is what my daughter Apeksha has made. Her day used to start with art.
We used to have a program called “pappy paints” and we tried sticking her in front of it. Her teacher had to be necessarily being her father for I cannot draw even if my life depends on it. Slowly she graduated from Pappy to other programs.
This is what she made initially and it adorns my walls. In fact these picture is off the wall.
Take a newspaper and lay it flat in your workplace.
Make a mixture of fevicol and water.
Spread it on the newspaper.
Now lay a layer of tissues on the newspaper.
Since the newspaper was visible she spread one more layer of tissues repeating the glue mixture.
Let it dry.
Once dry use a sponge and blot brown paint. Let it dry fully.
Now paint your vaarli figures. Here she has used paintbrush but a bamboo stick is better.
This is what she gifted me for Mother’s day when she was,” soon to be 16… “
This is my entry for the Blogging Marathon under the heading Art & Craft!
