A chutney made with Tender Tamarind Leaves Pachadi Recipe is simply delicious. Also called Chintha Chiguru Tokkuthis spicy and sour chutney tastes great with just about anything. Try it with not just idli, dosa but with bhakri and chapati even steamed rice. Try it!

A simple and yet such a delicious snack. Like your tip of checking for the poha edges to curl a bit to check for doneness. I’d add ready roasted nuts for a much healthier version.
ArchanaPotdar says
Adding roasted nuts is a great idea. Will do tomorrow when I make my next batch.

I love poha-chivda. We used to eat it a lot during late night studies. It’s so simple yet delicious. Will try it soon.

When I could not manage it it was difficult Vandana. Now it seems easy 😀

Simple yet flavourful snack. I usually prepare in a same way as you described in your recipe but didn’t add Dalia in it, but it sounds so healthy and more crunchiness into chiwda. I’ll try your version too. Nice tips ????????

Poha chiwda is one of my family’s favorite snacks. Your recipe is slightly different from how I make it. We don’t add the dhania/ jeera powders and sesame seeds. Will have to try your version the next time I make some chivda.
ArchanaPotdar says
😀 Do try Pavani.

It’s been a while since I made chivda, I should make a batch soon. I’ve never tried adding coriander and cumin powder, that sounds like a great addition! This time I’ll try adding them. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of this recipe.

I love this Chivda so much, I can munch at any time. I usually add some nuts along with all the spices you mentioned. But I don’t add lemon juice, It’s like a nice twist here. It must have been yummy.

Yes, lemon juice gives it a nice flavour. Do try it, Malini. Thanks.
