Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Aglio e Olio is popular name and is made by lightly sautéing garlic that is sliced/ minced/ pressed garlic in olive oil. Alio e olio is garnished with dried red chilli flakes and finely chopped parsley. You can also garnish the spaghetti with grated parmesan or pecorino cheese, which again according to some traditional recipes, cheese should not be added.  I have not added cheese.

I started out making Spaghetti Aglio e Olio as it is much enjoyed in Isreal. Then I reaslised that Itlay also begins with I . This is my share for #BM 93 as 1 Alphabet 3 Countries!

though they might love it in Israel, it is definitely a very traditional Italian recipe and is served as the pasta course that comes between antipasta and segundo . I would love this simple spaghetti dish whether served traditionally or for any time!
