Why am I talking about salads?
Well, today is Monday and Monday is Foodie Monday BlogHop day. While most people have Monday morning blues I can assure you our group looks forward to Monday mornings.
Why?
Every Monday we take turns to specify themes on which we will blog and vote. This Monday it was Narmadha's turn and we had a tie between 2 themes. Narmadha offered her daughter 2 chits to choose from and the kid chose #212 Salad Stories. Narmadha blogs at Nam's Corner. Narmadha's recipes are simple to make take this thupka recipe, for instance, don't you want it?
After a lot of feasting for Ganesh Chathurthi, I am relieved to be eating salads. When I made this Delicious Greek Salad with Lettuce I cannot help missing my daughters for they love salads!!

Coming back to my daughters they are typically the same as any other teen. They never come to the table when called.
If I need them to come to a meal immediately I need to tell them there is salad and it will get soggy.
They are at the table before I finish my statement!
Needless to say, I make my salad in the biggest possible bowl and we have absolutely no leftovers. Since the only thing, the girls will eat then I make it a point to add a protein like chickpeas, paneer, tofu etc.
Delicious Greek Salad with Homemade Vinaigrette Dressing is simple and though in the traditional salad lettuce is not added,we liked it.
Next time no lettuce will go in the Greek Salad.
