Sooji Thalipeeth, also known as Rava Thalipeeth, is a delightful and versatile Indian flatbread from semolina (sooji or rava) herbs and spices you choose.
There is some chutneys’ made traditionally in all homes in Dharwad, my home town. the same recipe can be used for the ridge gourds skin, Amma once used red pumpkin’s skin.
Ingredients: 3-4 tomatoes roughly chopped 2tsp. oil Mustard ½ tsp.Hing 1 teaspoon urid dal 3 green chillies (as per taste) 1tbsp. til Curry leaves Coriander leaves ½ grated fresh coconut Salt to taste
Method: Heat oil add mustard when they splutter Add hing, urid dal till it changes colour. Add green chilies, curry leaves, til. Add tomatoes and lightly roast. Switch off the gas add coriander leaves, coconut and cool. Grind in the mixer with salt. Serve with dosa.
