I had forgotten about Indori Bhutte ka Kees from Indore till Pari reminded me of it!
Indori Butte ka Kees is Stir fried Grated Fresh Corn!
I had ages ago hosted ‘Only’ Street Foods of the World an event by Pari. Pari had sent me her entry of Indori Bhutte ka Kees that had me nostalgic, the carefree days of school when the day began and ended with friends, school and books!
On a school trip, actually it was my tuition teacher’s school trip, he took me along, and we had been to Madhya Pradesh. The memories of Indore are vivid in my mind. In the school trip, I had a protector and guide called Nindini affectionately called Nandu Dada!! Everyone had to go through her to talk to me especially as I hardly knew anyone. Wish I can get in touch with her again.
I had loved the place on the picnic and then after my parents were posted in Indore.
I loved the food in Indore I have already posted Shahi Shikanji which fills you up to the brim. This is the second I remember is hara chana roasted and the third is this Butte ka Kees.
