Fresh Green Pea Soup is delicious and since fresh peas are seasonal I will like to make this soup whenever we have a batch of fresh green peas. The soup is different and creamy but gets done fast. A great easy way to get protein-rich diet.
My first introduction to peas in liquid form was this rhyme, it made sense when I was teaching it to my younger kid. As a kid myself I repeated it without understanding it.
Pease porridge hot, pease porridge cold,
Pease porridge in the pot, nine days old;
Some like it hot, some like it cold,
Some like it in the pot, nine days old.
In fact, preferred to teach her this kind of rhymes whenever I spent time with her. This made it easy to feed her anything at all. In fact, since she kept begging for soup I have given her amti! She made a mess when she fed herself but we had 3-4 designated bed sheets used for her to eat. She was easier to feed and healthier too.
Soup and salads are our preferred food so I guess I make them often. Many times I do not click pictures it’s only after the dish is finished I think I should have taken pictures.
