Fresh Green Pea Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Potato chopped
  • 1 clove garlic optional
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • Salt to Taste
  • black pepper freshly ground,to taste
  • cream to garnish
  • 1/4 cup Milk

Instructions

  • In a pan heat, the butter add the garlic(if using) and onion and stir fry on low flame till translucent.
  • Add the potatoes and 1 cup water.
  • Once the potatoes cook add the peas and switch off the gas.
  • Cool the mixture completely and blend in a mixer till smooth.
  • Transfer to the same pan add the milk, salt, pepper and add water and adjust the consistency of the soup.
  • Cook for about 3 minutes.
  • Serve garnished with cream.
