This flavourful mixture of edible gum, seeds and nuts in your daily milk. Simple to make and with no tricky syrups in play. This simple powder keeps you full for a long time.
¼cupGheeor clarified butter +3 tablespoon if needed
Instructions
Cut the dry dates into thin slices. Set aside.
In a thick pan heat the clarified butter.
Deep fry the edible gum in small batches. Keep the flame low.
The gum immediately blooms, flip it once, drain and set aside.
Add more clarified butter if needed. Repeat till all the gum is fried.
In the same pan add the sliced dry dates and stir fry the dates. If it seems there is no clarified butter in the pan it is okay. Do not add more clarified butter.
Next when the dry dates change colour add the almonds.
Continue to roast the almonds you get a nice aroma or there are flecks on the almonds.
Similarly and and roast pistachios till they are crunchy.
Add the cashew nuts and repeat the process.
Similarly, roast the pumpkin seeds.
Now add the haleem and the chia seeds. Switch off the flame and stir the mixture for about 2-3 minutes.
Finally and the fried edible gum and mix well.
Let this mixture cool completely.
In the grinder grind the mixture in batches.
Store this powder in an airtight container.
How to serve:
I mix the 1 tablespoon of powder of the edible gum, seeds and nuts in ½ cup milk warm milk and set it aside for some time. After about half an hour the mixture thickens and you get a nice jelly kind of mixture.
You can enjoy this jelly as it is. Or
In the mixture now you can add any flavouring of your choice, add any sweetener like sugar, honey or maple syrup. Serve it. or
Add fruits of your choice say strawberries, apples, bananas. Add a sweetener of your choice. Enjoy!
If you do not want the milk, add to a bowl of mixed fruits a tablespoon of the Gondh powder. Enjoy!
Add some of the edible gum powder to a plate add some homemade clarified butter. Eat!
