Chop the broccoli into fine pieces.
In a deep pan, heat the oil and butter.
Add the garlic and stir-fry until the raw smell goes away.
Add the onions and stir-fry until the onions are translucent.
Add the almonds and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add the broccoli and stir-fry until colour changes.
Remove from the flame; allow it to cool a little.
Transfer to a mixer jar or blend to a smooth paste.
Transfer the mixture in the pan adjust the thickness and bring to boil.
Add milk and cook for 2 minutes or till the mixture comes to boil.
Serve immediately garnished with pepper powder as needed.
