Soak and peel the ginger. You can grate and squeeze the liquid but I just ground it up in the mixer.
Squeeze the lemon and pour over the ginger.
Add ¼ teaspoon of salt and sugar. You can always add more if needed so use a little less.
Straining the Juice:
After about 30 minutes, place a strainer on a bowl and add the mixture of lemon and ginger on it. Most of the liquid will drain out. Press the residue on the strainer and get most of the liquid out.
Taste and adjust to taste.
Store in a bottle in the fridge. Stays good for about 15 days in the fridge.
To Consume:
Add 1 tablespoon to half a glass of water. 1-2 teaspoon directly is good for healthy adults.
