In the last of my combos for the first week in the #Buffet on Table I wanted to represent India. So I tried something that has been teasing and tantalising me for ages.
Actually #Parda Pulao is made from mutton but that in no way should stop us vegetarians from making this delicious pulao.
You can actually use Soya Chunks like Vah re Vah has used but since we do not enjoy the chunks I have made it with vegetables. My only regret in making this Parda pulao was that I did not use mushrooms and paneer or even hard boiled eggs. That would have taken care of the protein for us.
Also though I have included the parda as in Taj Cookbook I have used ordinary chapatti dough as I was sure my rice crazy kids will dump the chapatti and hubby is not interested in the masala that this has. So was quite surprised when he came investigating the source of the aroma…
