Healthy drumsticks stir fried pairs well with rice!

  1. Wash the drumsticks add some salt and ½ cup water.
  2. Boil till the drumsticks are tender. Drain and reserve the water.
  3. In a kadhai/wok heat oil.
  4. Splutter the rai/mustard, jeera/jeera/cumin. Add haldi and methi seeds.
  5. Add the garlic and let the raw smell go away.
  6. Add the onion and fry till the onion becomes translucent.
  7. Add the drained drumsticks, coconut, masala, green chillies.
  8. Add the water if needed.
  9. Mix well and cook for about 5-10 minutes till tender.
  10. Serve with rice and daal.
