For those of who wondering what chakana is it is something, you nibble on with an alcoholic drink.

In Goa, we get an array of flavoured cashew nuts from peppered to red chilli. There are some that are sugar coated too.  Then there are chana, peanuts, one speciality is green peas fry.  In fact, you can eat green peas fry like a starter there are times when we have had green peas fry just because we love it and absolutely no drinks with it.  But I transgress let us get back to these delicious Roasted Honey Chilli Almonds you can serve the next time you have a party.

These nuts are addictive and can be varied to suit your tastes, of course, you can have honey chilli, just honey, with salt or peri-peri masala.

The nuts too can be varied you can use almonds, cashew nuts, pecans, peanuts, walnuts why not and why not with fox nuts??

Remember however to eat in moderation they are a high-calorie snack and good for toddlers who can and kids.

The reason I am talking about baking is that every year in December Srivalli has a Bake-a-ton where we post 3 times a week any baked item. This is the first time I am participating and since I have had absolutely no plans of joining in my bakes are all random. Any bake I am finding in my backup is being put up absolutely random and last minute. SO don’t be surprised if you find something that makes you wonder just what was that. Hope to replace the pictures later.
